If you have a National Library of Australia Card (free, but must be an Australian resident)  or WA State library card ( free, but must reside in Western Australia) you can access 19th Century British Newspapers Part I at home free of charge.  🙂

This collection of newspapers includes 49 national, regional and local publications taken directly from the extensive holdings of the British Library. Featuring key British newspapers selected from throughout the United Kingdom, it provides a comprehensive view of British and world news, culture and society during the 19th century.
