Stone Album

The State Library of Western Australia has recently digitised some very early photographs of Perth and Fremantle taken in 1860 – 1868.

These photographs were taken by Alfred Hawes Stones and then compiled in an album as a wedding gift to his daughter.

Not all the photographs have been dated and identified so the SLWA welcomes any information that viewers may be able to supply.

Some fascinating photos, well worth a look.
